Outreach Coordinator
As Outreach Coordinator you will have to go to classes at the beginning of the year and advertise the UWPSA, you will have to help reach out to high school students, meeting with students unsure if they want to pursue a Physics degree, connecting those students with more experienced students/staff if you feel that others could help provide a more well rounded experience, and many other projects centred around increasing the Physics Students enrolment!!
We are currently working to find a way to reach out to high school students/first/second year university students and get them interested in Physics!
The Positions in the UWPSA are:
Social Media Coordinator
As Social Media Coordinator you will have to run our Instagram account, Twitter account, and website! Both the Instagram and Twitter are needed to be updated daily and our website needs to be updated about weekly if not more! I have been trying to increase our social media presence so you will have to be ready to keep up with posting about everything we are up to!!You will also have to be willing to interact with other clubs outside of Physics! I believe interdisciplinary work is the only way to make meaningful discoveries - and the best way to get people interested in interdisciplinary work is by sharing what other (STEM and arts!) clubs are up to!!
As well I am in the works of collaborating with Physics clubs across Canada - so you will have to be involved with that as well!As Social Media Coordinator you will have to help foster a welcoming and safe environment for everyone on our virtual presence as well!!
Treasury Committee
As apart of the Treasury Committee you will looks after our finances! You will have to be in contact with Tom Brown about our bank account. You will be responsible for any transactions involved when coordinating events, so you will have to be actively involved in the planning of any events held.
Vice President
As Vice President, you are responsible for helping the President to oversee everything. You will have to help run the Discord server, run any events (such as merch sales, bake sales, etc.), take over any jobs that are not filled, and take care of all other administrative work (answering emails, setting up meetings, taking minutes, etc.).

As President, you will are responsible for overseeing everything.
